Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to join. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and you are responsible for everything done through your account. One person per account, and you may not impersonate anyone else.

Handles must be unique. Handles that closely resemble an existing member's handle are held for administrator review before they are approved, and handles may be reassigned where they are misleading or impersonating.

Post only content you have the right to share. The following is not allowed and will be rejected or removed: nudity or sexual content, harassment or abuse of any kind, racism or hate speech, political campaigning, and violence toward people or animals.

Lawful hunting, fishing and trapping content — including harvested game, field dressing and gear — is allowed and is not treated as violence.

Do not post illegal content, spam, scams, malicious files, other people's private information, or anything that puts sensitive locations or wildlife at risk.

You keep ownership of your posts, photos, videos, map features and messages. By posting, you give Bushcraftr permission to store, display and share that content on the site as needed to run the features you have used, and to show it to the members your privacy settings allow. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with other members.

Pins, trails and notes you publish can be read by members who visit your profile, and other members may save them to their own maps. Do not publish coordinates you want to keep private. Routes and information shared by members are not verified — outdoor activity carries real risk and you use this information at your own risk.

Listings to swap or sell gear are between members. Bushcraftr does not handle payments, inspect items, ship anything, or guarantee any deal. Do not list anything you may not lawfully sell or transfer. Any dispute is between the members involved.

Private messages are for the people in that conversation. You may block or restrict other members. Do not use messages for harassment, spam or unsolicited selling. The administrator cannot be blocked, in order to keep oversight of the site.

Submissions are screened automatically and may be rejected or held for review. The administrator may review, edit or remove any content, and may suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms. Serious or repeated breaches can mean removal without notice.

Bushcraftr is provided as is. We do not promise the site will always be available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost content, lost profits, or any indirect damages arising from your use of the site.

If these terms change we will update the date above and show the new version here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. See also our Privacy Policy. For questions, message the administrator @cariboobackwoods from your account.
